Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern all sales and purchases made through About Health Supplements Limited’s (“About Health”, “us”, “we” or “our”) website (“our Site”) via the internet, telephone or mail or internet banking.  By visiting and/or using our site you acknowledge that you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.  If you do not accept to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this Site.


1.     Pricing

1.1        Unless otherwise stated, all prices quoted on our site are in New Zealand dollars and include freight and GST within New Zealand.  International orders incur a variable freight charge (advertised at time of transaction), depending on the destination. Prices are subject to change without notice at the discretion of About Health.   About Health guarantees its stipulated prices except in such situations as typographical / printing error or errors caused by unauthorized third-party amendments to our site.


2.     Orders

2.1        Our options for ordering include:

By Cheque: Send cheques to About Health supplements, PO Box PO Box 302423, North Harbour, Auckland, 0751. Order reference will be provided at the time of transaction

Internet Banking: Nominated bank account details and order reference will be advised at the time of transaction

Laybuy: You will be directed to Laybuy’s payment gateway at the time of purchase to complete transaction

AfterPay: You will be directed to AfterPay’s payment gateway at the time of purchase to complete transaction

2.2       To process orders we require the following details: your name, postal address, contact email address and telephone number together with your preferred payment method.


3.       Payment

3.1        We currently accept the following credit cards. No credit card details are ever stored on About Health’s servers. All website transactions are processed though “DPS” secure payment gateway.

3.2        The total cost of your order will be directly charged to your nominated credit card either upon completion of the online payment screen or upon receipt of your order by / phone / post /internet banking.


4.       Delivery

4.1        About Health delivers nationwide and internationally.  All items are well packaged for safe delivery. Prices stipulated on our site include postage and packaging within New Zealand. An extra freight charge applies to all international orders, this will be advertised at time of sale. Delivery time within New Zealand is generally 1-3 working days (rural deliveries may take longer), Australian orders are generally 4-7 working days. Other International delivery times depend on the destination. 


4.2        About Health guarantees delivery in New Zealand [and worldwide], so long as our conditions of trade have been met, the address details are correct and About Health’s agents personnel and / or property will not be endangered by delivering to the destination (as solely determined by About Health or About Health’s agents). We reserve the right to refund the purchase price (and any delivery charge) rather than send / resend an item in the instance where an item is lost or, in our sole opinion, the destination is unreliable and / or unsafe to our About Health’s agents personnel and / or property for whatever reason.


4.3        We reserve the right to withhold delivery in the instance that we believe (at our sole discretion) payment may be dishonoured (due to credit card / internet fraud or the like) at any time where we suspect a default or fraud.


4.4        Please ensure you have supplied us with the correct delivery address as we will not be responsible for delivery to an incorrect address.  In such instances where an incorrect delivery address has been supplied, the customer shall be responsible for the cost to resend the item.


4.5        All orders are normally shipped within 24 hours as such we cannot usually stop a delivery after this time.


5.       Returns

5.1        About Health offers a full money back or replacement guarantee if you are dissatisfied with our products in any way. To qualify you must return to us all unused product and containers and the receipt you will have received with your order back to our specified location. Our guarantee extends to only the most recent order you placed with us. The guarantee is only provided to individuals (who are consumers as defined in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993) and we reserve the right to refuse a refund if our conditions have not been met (or if we determine (at our sole discretion) that a request for a refund is part of an orchestrated campaign to abuse our refund policy).


6.       Security

6.1        Our website is a secure shopping environment. About Health retains no credit card details. Website transactions use “DPS” for secure credit card processing.


7.       Intellectual Property

7.1        Our Site has been created for your personal and non-commercial use only.  Ownership of all the intellectual property elements of About Health, our Site and our products remain with About Health at all times unless stipulated otherwise.  This includes (but is not limited to) our Site, the products, all literary works, artistic works, photographs and trademarks.  Users of our Site are strictly prohibited from using, reproducing, modifying, interfering, or distributing any contents or elements of our Site in any other websites, electronic retrieval systems, publications or any other works without our prior written consent.


8.       Disclaimer

8.2         About Health also does not accept any responsibility for any inconvenience, damage or loss as a result of accessing / using our Site.  This includes (but is not limited to) interrupted access, changes to your hardware to enable you to access our Site, computer viruses or external intrusion caused by unauthorized third-party access / amendments to our Site.          


9.       Law & Jurisdiction

9.1        All Terms and Conditions governing our Site and any matters relating to our Site will be governed by New Zealand Law.  You also agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.


10.   Changes to our Terms and Conditions

10.1      We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time without any notice and at our full discretion.  By accepting to be bound by these Terms and Conditions you agree to be and are bound by any future changes to these Terms and Conditions.  It is your responsibility to check our Terms and Conditions on a regular basis to familiarise yourself with our current version of our Terms and Conditions.


11.   Use of Personal Data

11.1      About Health would like to be able to inform our customers of our latest news / offers.  By providing your email address you are providing your consent to receive future emails from us informing you of such news / offers. Our emails will ensure that if you do not wish to receive any further correspondence from About Health, you will be able to ‘opt out’ at any time.


12. Subscription 'Best Price Guarantee'

Our 'Best Price Guarantee' is available only to those who remain a part of the About Health subscription service. Best Price Guarantee means that you will always get the best price, even if our prices need to rise due to increased ingredient costs. 

 (a) You will be informed with two months notice of an increase in price, and an explanation will be given; 

 (b) You will be informed of any deletions of products with alternatives offered;

 (c) You will be able to terminate your subscription at any time; 

 (d) Leaving the subscription and then starting again will not give you the same price as the prior subscription;

 (e) We reserve the right to update the terms and conditions of our subscription at any time.
