I take Warfarin and am wondering if I am able to get the benefits of RES-V® PLUS.
Our stance as a natural supplement company (rather than working one-on-one with clients in a clinic setting) is to recommend the public DO NOT take RES-V® PLUS while on Warfarin. This is due to the lack of scientific evidence showing the safety of interactions or adverse reactions when combining these two products. While we have no evidence of negative interactions it is ABOUT HEALTH’S policy to err on the side of caution.
There are a variety of nutrients, vitamins, minerals and life-style initiatives that can be implemented to assist with cardiovascular health however these must be undertaken with a natural health practitioner, who will confer with your doctor. |
Is it safe to take Aspirin or Cartia with RES-V® PLUS?
Yes we are happy for our customers to take RES-® PLUS (at the recommended daily dose) while taking Aspirin or Cartia. To date we have no reports of any interactions. In our view, based on reports from clinical practice, feedback and naturopathic experience, RES-V® PLUS would have to be taken in very large amounts (beyond the recommendations cited on our information), for a long period of time, to produce any adverse interactions with mild blood-thinners.
How long will it take for RES-V® PLUS to have an effect on my blood pressure?
There is no definitive time frame within which we can say RES-V® PLUS will have a positive impact on each individual because personal health and lifestyle factors play major roles in each person’s wellbeing. Generally speaking however, our customers report benefits after three months of taking RVP.
Can I take RES-V® PLUS with my blood pressure medication?
Yes. Ensure your doctor checks your blood pressure level regularly, as in some cases medication can be lowered or stopped at the recommendation of your doctor.
Will I be able to stop taking my blood pressure medication if I take RES-V® PLUS.
This will be a decision made by your doctor after close monitoring of your BP. We do have clients who are able to decrease or stop taking their BP medication while taking RVP. |
